What is MyPHPsig?
MyPHPsig is a free PHP random signature / rotating signature site where you can upload images, set randomized quotes, and other features. Simple PHP scripts are popular on many web forums and bulletin boards, and MyPHPsig has features that many of these custom scripts have and more. In addition to all of the features, there is an easy-to-use interface where you can customize almost every setting of your signature.
What features does MyPHPsig have?
The main feature of MyPHPsig is allowing for multiple images to be displayed. Standard Users can have a maximum of 25 images uploaded at any time. You can also customize many of the display features, such as:
- Border color and size
- Background color, including horizontal and vertical gradient
- Custom display title
- Unlimited randomized quotes
- User stat tracking, including unique hits
Does MyPHPsig gather personal information? How can you tell my service provider?
No, MyPHPsig does not gather your personal information. It does keep track of what IP addresses hit the system, but this information is not dangerous nor can anyone steal your identity with it. Any time you connect online, your computer broadcasts this IP address to any website you view. This IP address can also be used to determine what internet service provider you are using based on their parent network. Also, when you look at one of our signatures and see what browser, operating system, or service provider that you are using, this is visible only to you! No other viewer nor our users can look to see what information is tracked. Logged IP addresses are also masked to provided added security to our viewers.
Why does my signature say that I have exceeded my bandwidth limit?
In order to keep server costs down, each user is limited to 500mb of bandwidth a month. While this may seem low, signatures are generally only 15-25kb in size. You shouldn't have to worry about this unless you are getting over 10,000 hits a month.
How can I get more bandwidth or images?
You can donate some money to our server funds. We will be adding this as an option in the future, but if you are interested then simply submit a Report with the "Account Upgrade" type.
